What'll I do with the baby-o If she won't go to sleepy-o Dance her north and dance her south and put a little whiskey in her mouth Wrap her up in the tablecloth and toss her up in the nubbin loft pull her toes and tickle her chin and wrap her up in the counterpin

Go to sleep you little baby Go to sleep you little baby Your momma's gone away and your daddy's gone to stay Didn't leave nobody but the baby Go to sleep you little baby Go to sleep you little baby Everybody's gone in the cotton and the corn Didn't leave nobody but the baby You're a sweet little baby You're a sweet little baby Honey in the rock and the sugar don't stop Gonna bring a bottle to the baby Don't you weep pretty baby Don't you weep pretty baby She's long gone with the red shoes on Gonna meet another lovin baby Don't you weep pretty baby Don't you weep pretty baby You and me and the devil makes three Don't need no other lovin baby Go to sleep you little baby Go to sleep you little baby Come and lay your bones on the alabaster stones And be my ever lovin baby

Oh you are a mucky kid
 Dirty as a dustbin lid
When he hears the things that you did
You'll get a belt from yer dad
Oh, you have your father's nose
So crimson in the dark it glows
If you're not asleep when the boozers close
You'll get a belt from yer dad
You look so scruffy lying there
Strawberry jam tarts in your hair
In all the world you haven't a care
And I have got so many
It's quite a struggle every day
 Livin' on yer father's pay
The beggar drinks it all away
 And leaves me without any
Although you have no silver spoon
 Better days are coming soon
Our Nelly's working at the loom
And she gets paid on Friday
Perhaps one day we'll have a splash
When little woods provide the cash
We'll get a house in Knotty Ash
And buy your dad a brewery
Oh you are a mucky kid
 Dirty as a dustbin lid
When he hears the things that you did
You'll get a belt from yer dad
Oh you have your father's face
You're growing up a real hard case
But there's no one can take your place
Go fast asleep for your mummy

Hush little baby, don't say a word Mama's gonna buy you a mocking bird. If that mocking bird won't sing Mama's gonna buy you a diamond ring. If that diamond turn to brass Mama's gonna buy you a lookin' glass. If that lookin' glass get broke Mama's gonna buy you a billy goat. If that billy goat won't pull Mama's gonna buy you a cart and bull. If that cart and bull break down You'll still be the sweetest little baby in town.

Remember me Though I have to say goodbye Remember me Don't let it make you cry For even if I'm far away I hold you in my heart I sing a secret song to you each night we are apart Remember me Though I have to travel far Remember me Each time you hear a sad guitar Know that I'm with you the only way that I can be Until you're in my arms again Remember me Recuérdame, Hoy me tengo que ir, mi amor, Recuérdame, No llores por favor Te llevo en mi corazon y cerca me tendrás, A solas yo te cantaré soñando en regresar Recuérdame aunque tengo que emigrar, Recuérdame si mi guitarra oyes llorar, Ella con su triste canto te acompañará. Hasta que en mis brazos estés, Recuérdame.
